8 km Cambridge Mill Race

June 9, 2024 10:30 am start

This out-and-back course is on the Walter Bean trail, which is part of The Great Trail (formerly Trans Canada) system.

The surface is mainly hard-packed dirt and stone dust with a few asphalt sections. The turn-around point is on the paved bike path that runs alongside Blair Road. There will be a water station at the 4km mark.

This race is chip timed.

Post-race lunch is provided by
The Cambridge Mill

The Cambridge Mill has graciously offered to provide a post race lunch. Each participant in either the 8km or 1km race will receive a meal with their race registration. Must show your bib to get your meal.

Post-race massages provided by
Parke Massage Therapy

After your race, a massage can help
increase the body’s rate of recovery by reducing inflammation in the muscles. Rhonda-Marie from Parke Massage Therapy has offered her services to our participants.

Complimentary coffee provided by
Grand Café

Warm up and wake up with a nice cup of
coffee provided by our friends at the Grand Café.

Our event is welcoming to all and if you have a specific need for accommodation, such as a wheelchair accessible parking spot or a support person, or if you use a mobility aid, we are available for any questions or concerns. We would love for you to join us!

Any funds raised in excess of what is needed to organize the race and overhead costs will go toward our charity of choice. For 2024 we have selected the rare Charitable Research Reserve as the recipient.

This race wouldn’t exist without our many generous sponsors.
